Needs Analysis
- Project definition.

Flow Chart "Values" Process
- Helps uncover potential values to incorporate into the project.
Vendor Team Building
- Pull in additional team members as needed in the areas of design, production, packaging, copywriting and content development, marketing research, art direction, fulfillment, inventory management and distribution.
Proactive Quality Review
- Utilize our experience with over 5,000 jobs to flush out potential pitfalls before the piece is even designed.
Formulate Estimate Specifications
- Determine and document all specifications for the project.
RFQ to Pre-screened Vendors
- Send a request for quotation (RFQ) to the appropriate number of pre-qualified vendors (could be 1- 8) for any given component.
- Analyze vendor responses and cross-check for other solutions as well as compatibility with original specifications.
- Assess strengths and weaknesses of each vendor solution and provide our recommended selection.
Liaison to client marketing and design teams
- Ensures that the project honors core messages and design requirements.
Design Research
Conduct design research to include:
- Making dummies and prototypes.
- Verifying postal and/or shipping compatibility.
- Testing stock selection for future customization.
- Ink draw-downs.
- Special color matching.
- Pre-testing bindery operations that could present a challenge to production deadlines.
Job Intake Review Process
- Receiving the job involves a formal process for ensuring that the job matches the original specifications.
Ongoing Client Check-In; schedule and cost changes documented and passed on
- Daily morning check-ins on all live jobs ensure that the client is always appraised of where their job is in the manufacturing process.
- Any changes in schedule or cost are documented and given to the client immediately.
Proofreading and Proofing
- The client and at least one Graphic Focus team member proof and proofread each job to make sure that any potential problems are uncovered before going to press.
Press Checks
- On site at the manufacturer 24 hours per day/ 7 days per week.
Bindery Checks
- On site at the manufacturer 24 hours per day / 7 days per week.
Production Problem Troubleshooting
- Printing is never perfect. It is a manufacturing process run by human beings.
- Our job is to insure consistency, which is the best possible outcome.
- Our job is to protect you, the client; we work for you, not the vendor. Your pleasure, safety and interests are our concern.
- Production problems are handled by offering all workable solutions, along with the strengths and weaknesses of each, you will then be given our recommendation of the best solution.
Shipping Tracking
- With verbal, fax or email updates of date and time of signature confirmation at the intended destination.
Accurate and Timely Billing
- Usually within 24 hours of completion of a project.
Post Project Analysis
- Varying degrees of post-project analysis are available, so that the project ends with the knowledge of what can be stronger, or at least implemented, in future projects.
