How to prepare and upload your files

  • ART can be done in print-ready PDF’s, InDesign, Illustrator, or Photoshop files.
  • LINKED graphics should be sent with the working files.
  • FONTS (both screen and printer) should be sent with the working files and be either TrueType or PostScript.
  • RESOLUTION should be 300 dpi for photos and 600 lpi for line art.
  • BLEEDS should be 1/8” beyond the trim size.
  • GRADIENTS should be supplied as a Photoshop gradient instead of vector gradients.
  • RICH BLACKS should be formulated as 60%C, 40%M, 0%Y, 100%K.
  • RULES should be a minimum of .25 thick.
  • TIME to transfer a file is one minute per Meg of information. Stuff or zip your files to keep them from corrupting.
  • SEND your files in batches if you have a big job. Ideal size is 45M per upload. Files larger than 175M should be burned to CD.
